Notes for leaders

The clearing near Wild Cattle Creek crossing and the junction with Syndicate Track makes a good rest stop (both ways!). There is a large coppiced Antarctic Beech tree just off Slingsbys trail opposite the clearing. At the clearing, turn onto Syndicate Track and the old snig track to Dibbs Heads begins just across the creek. You may see pink tape along the way. We’ve heard lyrebirds on this track. There is a view if you go right at the end of the track, or some large trees if you go left to the high point.

Limited parking at the end of Slingsbys Road start of trail, so must car pool. No facilities at parking, stop at Dangar Falls on the way.

GPX Trail on AllTrails (follow Coffs Hikers). Marked sensitive as it includes off-track, although this will change once the Dorrigo Great Escarpment Walk opens.
